We had the jalapeno poppers, the kicking chicken on a brioche bun and the Burbage bigger. Everything was absolutely delicious. Beautiful clean restaurant on the river. Can't best the service. Fast knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to coming back and trying other menu items
We stopped in for the first time and had lunch today (Sunday) around 11:30. It wasn’t busy at all! We were served very quickly, took our lunch to the very cute patio, and ate overlooking the water. Grilled cheese with bacon and a side of chips, buffalo chicken wrap with fries, 2 soft drinks came out to 29 before tip. Excited to visit more as it gets warmer!
The coffee is absolutely fantastic. The true espresso bean flavor is there with zero bitterness. Truly the BEST coffee I've had in a long time. The hummus toast is also amazing: super flavorful and unique. I'd eaten half before I thought to take a photo of it for this review. The set up is darling: each little room is so cozy and has a different ambiance for whatever suits your needs. The staff are so bubbly and friendly. We don't live nearby, but any time I'm out this way I will be stopping!
First time trying Bean and Brew, and I’m so glad we did! Stopped by on a Sunday morning for coffee and breakfast, and both were incredible. The coffee was amazing—rich and perfectly brewed. We tried the breakfast quesadilla along with waffles and French toast sticks, and each item complemented the other beautifully. Nestled in the heart of downtown Batavia, Bean and Brew has a comfy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay a while. I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend!
Very cute local spot! I love the design inside that's made to feel like sitting in your own living room! We chose to eat out on the patio though. It had a great view of the river! The service was great and the food was delicious! Gotta try their jalapeno poppers!
They have expanded! They have a whole new menu including wood fire pizza. The expansion will hit your eye like a big pizza pie, that's amore. Pro tip: Get the soft pretzel you will thank me later.
Aliyah at the bar has a wonderful personality. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the place. My food was excellent.Breakfast quesadilla with sausage was great. I will definitely be back with friends. Looks like a great place to hang out by the river on a nice day.
Bean and Brew is our local “go to” when we want a great wood fired pizza, a glass of brew (beer or coffee) or a wonderful selection of lunch or dinner fare. You can also watch our favorite home teams on any of their large screen tvs. There is also outdoor and/or riverside seating. Matt, the owner, has turned this forgotten corner of Batavia into an oasis of food, drink, hospitality and entertainment.
